Professor Lukman Olajide Abdur-Raheem, the University of Ilorin Paediatric Surgeon, who made waves as head of a 60-man team who successfully separated a conjoined twins in January 2021 at the institution’s Teaching Hospital facilities has announced the death of one of the twins, which he said resulted from adhesive intestinal obstruction, barely two weeks to her second birthday.

Against the background of checkmating all criminal activities that could mar the yuletide, the Kwara State Police Command said it has imposed some security measures, including massive deployments of men and materials in and around public utilities, aggressive motorized and foot patrols, stop and search operations, and continuous raids on black spots.
