Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Tuesday named a 10-person judicial panel of investigation to look into the complaints of police brutality, human rights abuses and extra judicial killings by the #EndSARS protesters.

The construction of the much-talked-about Ilorin Innovation Centre is underway with the clearing of a section of the expansive Kwara Hotel to accommodate the project that is designed to empower youths with new skills, support their initiatives, build and attract talents, and generate resources for the state.

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq at the weekend signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Kwara State Government and National Centre for Agricultural Mechanization (NCAM) on processing of agricultural produce across different communities in the state. 

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated senior journalist Alhaji Razaq Folorunsho Gidado on his appointment as a commissioner of the National Population Commission (NPC), describing his nomination and confirmation as very deserving for a thoroughbred professional like him.
 
“The nomination and confirmation of Alhaji Gidado is not surprising as he is no doubt a patriot, a progressive politician and a top-rated journalist who has served the state meritoriously at various times. His Excellency therefore felicitates with the senior journalist and an Otoge advocate on the new landmark. His appointment to such a sensitive position situates him as a trusted hand who would make national interest a priority at all times,” the Governor said in a statement by Chief Press Secretary Rafiu Ajakaye.
 
“The Governor commends the President and the Nigerian Senate for the appointment/confirmation of Alhaji Gidado who has always been at the forefront of the Kwara struggle. He also prays the Almighty Allah to guide Alhaji Gidado on the new national assignment.”
