The Vice-Chancellor of University of Ilorin, Prof. Sulyman Abdulkareem has challenged lecturers in the University to embrace impactful research that will benefit their students and contribute meaningfully to the nation's development.

In his address, the author of the books, Dr. Olusola Adesiyun, gave glory to Almighty God for granting his long term wish to publish a book. He eulogised his wife, Dr. (Mrs.) Omotayo Adesiyun for her contributions, guidance and encouragement.

Dr. Adesiyun noted that the books project would not have come to reality if not for his wife's persistence and tenacity to make sure the books were completely and professionally written. He noted that his wife is his second teacher at home who teaches him inspirational songs whenever he felt discouraged to continue.

He stressed that he was a fulfilled man now that the books will be at various libraries for the use of students and lecturers alike.

The author, who is currently observing his one year sabbatical at the Bowen University, Iwo in Osun State, stated that his aim for writing the books was to make sure that his students as well as those who never come in contact with him including his colleagues from other universities across the country tap from his wealth of experience and knowledge.

He, however, noted that he used the occasion of the book launch to commemorate the 96th posthumous birthday of his late mother and matriarch of the Adesiyun family, Mrs Felicia Adeola Adesiyun.
