The remains of the late ace broadcaster and veteran journalist, Chief (Mrs) Falilat Oyeyemi Ademokoya-Agboola, would be interred on May 27, 2022 in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

Chief (Mrs) Jumoke Harb, one of her siblings said this in a statement issued on behalf of the deceased family.

The statement said the release of the funeral details for Mrs Ademokoya-Agboola was sequel to the resolution of series of meetings at the instance of stakeholders.

It said service of song, wake keep and Artistes Evening is fixed for Thursday, 26th May, 2022 at 2pm at Gold Hall of Atlantic Event Palace, Budo Giwa, Ajase Ipo Road, Offa Garage Area of llorin.

The statement informed that the burial service of the ace broadcaster would hold at Christ Apostolic Church, Goshen Land, llorin on Friday, 27th May, 2022 at 10am while a private burial takes place at her residence in Araromi, Gaa Akanbi Area of llorin immediately after the service.

It said entertainment of guests would also hold at Atlantic Event Palace, shortly after the burial. Ademokoya-Agboola was Treasurer of the Kwara State chapter of National League of Veteran Journalists (NALVEJ). She died at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital on May 7, 2022 following a brief illness at the age of 67years.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren and siblings.
