Business mogul and renowned pharmacist, Ademola Julius Ajibola has emerged the Oba elect of Ijara Isin, in Isin Local Government of Kwara State.

The kingmakers, who unanimously appointed Prince Ajibola on Sunday, have forwarded his nomination to the state government for ratification.

Ajibola was born into Ile-Olusin Royal House over five decades ago. He attended Oro Grammar School in Irepodun Local Government of Kwara State and proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he graduated as a pharmacist. He also holds a master’s degree in Business Administration.

His company, Mt. Olive Nig. Ltd is a leading indigenous commodity merchant and wholesale distributor in Kwara state. He is also Chairman on the Board of Directors of Mount Olive Quarry, Mount Olive Farms, Brightway Microfinance Bank and Yaatos Water.

He has received many merit awards from companies and organizations in appreciation of his sterling leadership qualities - The Nkrumah leadership award on societal development by West African Students Union (WASU), several pharmaceutical awards of excellence, the "Ebullient” business magnate of the year etc. He is the grand patron of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria (Kwara state command) and the former PTA Chairman of Roemichs International School Ilorin.

Ajibola will succeed late Olusin of Ijara- Isin, Oba Omoniyi Banigbe who joined his ancestors on the 4th of November, 2020, at the age of 80.
