The House of Representatives has again given two days ultimatum, for the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr Godwin Emefiele, to appear before it, to explain the new policy of cash withdrawal limit.

Mr Osita Okechukwu, the Director-General,Voice of Nigeria (VON), says State Governors cannot excuse themselves from being major contributor to deepening poverty and insecurity in Nigeria.

Speaking on Nigeria being referred to as a failed state, Onaiyekan observed: “I do not believe that we have reached that stage nor do I think that we shall reach that stage anytime soon. The flag of the nation is still flying even though it is dirty and tattered.
